The product of quartz and shells

Precipitation:
A kaleidoscopic prism
That’s just H2O.

Separating fields,
A home to birds and rodents,
An eco-system.

A very big deer?
I dunno, but I’m sure that
Sarah Palin knows.

Craving diet Coke -
overbears all my senses;
I must be stronger.

Carpeting open
Ground with ruffled green hair that
Browns as it ages.

Darkness creeps inside,
And the moon takes centre stage
With the lights turned off.

Waiting for rain’s end,
Fleeting glimpses of sun’s rays
In the cloud cover.

Cosy in it’s cave,
Waiting for winter’s waning,
Consuming itself.
